Intro

It is very important for each LMT (licensed massage therapist) to build a good relationship with each client, taking into account each individual’s medical, occupational, athletic/ sports history so she can help each of them achieve and work towards their overall wellness goals.

Initial Visit

If this is your first time getting treated by Camila or Stephanie, great! Welcome. At your first visit we will take a little bit of time before your massage begins to review some initial paperwork and medical history information you have shared.   This process helps you decide together what target areas need focus and what type of massage treatment will best fit your needs. After the initial session we can dialogue about a treatment plan for moving forward based on your body’s needs. We encourage clients to share and ask questions regarding their massage therapy plan and goals.   

Billing and Rates

At this time Avatar Healing is not taking private insurance or Medicare. However, Camille is happy to issue a paid invoice for services ( up to 3 months prior to date of request) to submit for flex spending with your insurance company for reimbursement.

There is no additional fee for your first appointment and all techniques are included in the price of massage. Depending on the needs of your body this may include the use of therapy cupping, Compex* EMS ( electric muscle stimulation),  guasha, Power Plate* massage therapy gun,  Kenion*Move+Pro enhanced laser light therapy device (coming September 2024), a list of home recovery for post massage maintenance, follow up support for questions or concerns post massage.

Cancellation Policy

In general, any cancellation of an appointment requires 24 hours notice. This allows time to find someone to fill the appt. Failure to give 24hr notice will result in full payment of the missed session. (Exceptions are sudden onset personal illness, a medical emergency or inclement weather at time of appt.) Thank you.

Cancellation List

If you would like to sign up for our cancellation list we will send out an email to those that have requested to receive an update when cancellations come in. We also recommend that you check the booking link every so often, as openings come up frequently and sometimes clients have been able to grab an appointment even before we are able to post that they are there.
